4th Symposium Driving Simulation on 13/14 November 2018 in Kaiserslautern.
Experts discussed technical progress and challenges of driving simulation on the way to autonomous driving.
Around 50 participants gathered on 13 and 14 November 2018 for the 4th Symposium Driving Simulation in order to discuss latest developments and trends in driving simulation. The event was organized by Automotive Simulation Center Stuttgart e.V., Fraunhofer ITWM and Virtual Dimension Center (VDC) Fellbach and took place on the premises of Fraunhofer ITWM in Kaiserslautern. The main focus was on future challenges in the field of virtual development, testing and validation of systems for automated vehicles.
The event offered an excellent platform for exchange between driving simulation experts from science, IT and industry.
